Braids

Lately I've been accidentally teaching myself how to do different kinds of braids. My french braid was pretty comical but I found some success with lace braiding. Tonight I attempted a fishtail using this image found on pinterest.

Well, fishtail fail.

But I think it still kinda looks cool. Maybe I'll wear it anyway.

Dream

Architectural Photography video

I am very curious about other people's photographic processes. The style someone develops for shooting and editing is unique and makes a huge difference in the quality of their work. I could easily spend hours watching someone else tediously adjust details in photoshop, but those opportunities don't come around as often as I'd like. Or, you know, ever. So videos like this, which go through an image step-by-step, are valuable to me. So cool!

I couldn't go to sleep

So I took my first just-for-kicks self-portrait in a very long time. I've been itching to poke around on a nice black and white.

About 2 hours from shutter to posting.

The quirks of dorm life

Well I thought I was taking a shower. Until my caddy floated by. Guess it was more of a swim?

Fort Bed

Instead of succumbing to boredom or productivity, I decided to turn my bottom bunk/couch into a fort.

I'm never growing up!

I think I'll enjoy it :) Time well spent.

I made this slightly different take on my previous baking adventure, only one day after my pancake escapade. I love food coloring!
